"I have a passion to help people understand just how much God loves them. The way God has equipped me personally to do that is through families. I want marriages and families to be the best they can be with Jesus right in the middle."

Timothy 3:9 Deacons must hold the mystery of the faith with a clear conscience. Lord Jesus, as you so wonderfully serve us with the rich treasures of your redeeming grace, inspire us by that grace joyfully to serve others in your precious name!
To serve others has always been what I wanted to do as a volunteer firefighter for over 40 years of service to our community. My passion to serve our Lord and help bring the great news of grace, peace and mercy that only comes from our Savior Jesus Christ. I have been married to my wonderful wife Suzanne for over 42 years. We have one daughter, Sara, a great son- in- law J, and a beautiful grandchild Elijah James. My decision to become a Licensed Lay Deacon through a two-year course of study at Concordia University /Seminary was a natural decision as I continue to serve our Lord. I am also entering a course of study at Strong Memorial Hospital as an Intern Chaplain through the Clinical Pastoral Education program, and serve as a volunteer chaplain with Lifetime Hospice. I look forward to serving as Deacon at Risen Christ Church and bringing the great news of Jesus Christ to strengthen our marriages, families and each other! Deacon Al will be leading worship at Risen Christ the summer of 2019 and sharing duties with Pastor Deknatel beginning September 2019 during our vacancy.
Kim Constantino- Family Life Minister
Psalm 133;1 says "How good and pleasant it is when God's people live together in unity!" To me, our earthly families are each examples of how we are all one big family of the Kingdom of God, and when families are living in unity with each other and with Him, it's God's best! I am happy to serve Him by helping facilitate strong marriages and healthy families here at Risen Christ and beyond.
Kim has been married to her wonderful husband Tor for more than 20 years and they have 3 beautiful children ages 17, 14 and 6 years old. They moved back to this area from Maryland in the summer of 2015 and now live in Victor. Kim has 6 years of experience volunteering at her Maryland church on a discipleship leadership team. Though she has her Masters in Education and taught French K-12 for 7 years, Kim has been a stay-at-home mom for the past 17 years and is excited about her role as Family Life Minister here at Risen Christ.

“When I think of God’s presence in my life he reveals the smile on a child’s face and the love in a puppy’s tail. I feel so very blessed that the Lord has called me to serve in a ministry where I can feel joy while caring for children and families. It is my hope and desire to glorify and honor our Savior by serving families while sharing Jesus.”
Jamie, her husband and two girls live in Fairport with their dog and cat. Her Masters of Science in Education has allowed her to serve a population of varied ages in both the Mental Health and Education fields. She has been employed in the Risen Christ Preschool Program for eight years.
